- Have an idea of what you want to get out of therapy
- Choose your own therapist – only you can know who is the best person for you!
- Give it a few sessions – settling in takes time but don’t be afraid to say if the fit isn’t right!
- Try more than one therapist before you decide with whom you want to work.
