Introduction

I am a Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist. I have been working in private practice for over 10 years. I trained at doctorate level at the Tavistock Clinic and in a CAMHS clinic in Surrey and qualified in 2013.

I follow a non-directive psychodynamic approach to working with children and adolescents; they are given art and play materials to help them express themselves alongside talking. Psychoanalytic psychotherapy provides a safe, confidential space for children and young people to understand their difficulties and work through them, as well as develop a secure and resilient sense of self.

I see children and adolescents from 0 to 25 years old for a wide range of mental health issues and emotional and behavioural difficulties. I also offer parent work to support parents of children and young people with difficulties, including parent-infant psychotherapy. I specialise in working with neurodiversity, care experienced and post adoption children and somatic symptoms.
