I have been a psychotherapist and trainer for almost 30 years, specialising in working with the impact of disrupted attachment and developmental trauma.

I am a UKCP registered Integrative Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist, working in private practice and with specialist therapeutic organisations.

I have a particular interest in working with adopted children and their families, and have worked as a parent consultant and trainer for a number of adoption organisations including Adoption UK, PAC-UK and PACT. I have run support groups, trainings and webinars for adoptive parents, providing support and information on a range of subjects including Child to Parent Violence (CPV), school related issues and trauma-informed therapeutic parenting.

I also work with SWAAY Child & Adolescent Services, providing assessments and therapeutic support to young people with a history of sexually harmful behaviour. I also have experience in working with victims of sexual violence and assault.

I have an extensive background in somatic trauma resolution and prenatal and birth psychology. I am an EMDR Europe Accredited EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) therapist and an Accredited Child and Adolescent EMDR Therapist.
